Bilingual Human Resource Manager

Intec Building Services is looking for someone who is Bilingual in Spanish. A typical day in this position will be: Answering phones, searching and recruiting potential candidates, giving information about jobs that are currently available, data entry and research. This position is full time and includes health benefits after 3 months.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct hiring actions on a weekly basis to recruit, onboard and manage employees
  • Schedule interviews with the selection/hiring officials and the applicants/interviewees
  • Ensure fair and equitable hiring practices to avoid discriminatory practices
  • Explain policies, procedures, guidelines and dress code to new employees; conduct training as required
  • Review and process reports ensuring employee information and timecards are accurate
  • Address pay issues, research and find a resolution
  • Process employment verification forms for active and inactive employees
  • Retrieve W2s documents and update I9 documents
  • Track and confirm bonuses for all managers and employees ensuring they are in the correct pay cycle
  • Maintain historical employee and Intec document (updating employee policies and procedures)
  • Add and remove employees from payroll system and file paperwork in the applicable locations
  • Able to create a detail report of accident claims to Workmen's compensation department
  • Manage the actions related to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Maintain open communication with all managers
  • Generate spread sheets for reports to senior management
  • Maintain the Company's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Log


Job requirements:

  • 3+ years experience as an HR Generalist in one or more of the following industries: Staffing, Janitorial Services, Construction, Healthcare or Hospitality.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification
  • Prior experience maintaining a safety program
  • H.S Diploma/GED and/or College Degree
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Accountability
  • Computer Literal
  • Knowledgeable in using HRIS
  • Excellent customer skills
  • Problem solving / Conflict Management
  • Ability to compose letters and forms

Pay Rate will be based on experience
